On this Safari we will cover the 3 most popular destinations in Tanzania – Tarangire National Park (1 night), Central Serengeti (1 night) and Ngorongoro Crater (1 night). The safari starts and ends in Arusha. With our experienced driver guides, it will be a trip of a lifetime! The Big Five can be spotted at the Ngorongoro Crater, while 6000 elephants and more than 400 species of birds, cheetahs, leopards, and lions roam in Tarangire National Park. Embark on a cultural tour at a Maasai village close to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti is famous for its large herds of wildebeests, zebras and other wildlife.

1
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
We will pick you up at around 07:30 (07:30AM) from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park, carrying a picnic lunch box we set off for a full-day game drive. Tanzania’s third-largest national park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park, famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa and often referred to as the “home of elephants”. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra. After the game drive you drive to Karatu for overnight at your lodge, where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 2: From Lodge in Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After an Early and good breakfast at 06.00 (6:00 AM) we will head towards the Serengeti National Park with a Game drive en route, travelling amid the never-ending plain grasslands.
The Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, herds of lions, and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles.
A picnic lunch will be served during the day-long game drive. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in the Tented Camp.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch (optional stopover at Olduvai). Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and 264 square kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest at Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater game drive and return to Arusha
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast, you leave the lodge for the Ngorongoro Crater at around 06:30 (06:30 AM).
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor area of about 260 sq km with a depth of over 600m. The 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action—keeping your camera ready is recommended!
African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions are plentiful. After a picnic lunch at the beautiful hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top of the crater. A 3,5 to 4-hour drive to Arusha is the last leg of your safari. We will drop you off at your hotel in Arusha around 19:30 to 20:00 (7:30 to 8:00PM)
